I have been a spoken word artist for over four years, and I love it! I’ve written poems about the patriarchy, potatoes and periods (and so much in between).

My poetry has featured at or on: Edinburgh Fringe, BBC6 Music Festival, BBC Radio Scotland, BBC The Social, Loop, STV’s The Late Show, BBC Scotland’s River City, Neu! Reekie!, O2 ABC (supporting George the Poet), The Macrobert, Beacon Arts Centre, Traverse Theatre, Inn Deep, The Arches, Loud Poets, Rally & Broad, Borders Book Festival, Berlin Spoken Word and The High Flight.

Previous commissions include ones from STV, BBC The Social, Siren Cinematics, LUX, Material, Wire, Zero Waste Scotland BBC Scotland, Bloody Big Brunch, Nordoff Robbins and Ayr Tourism Board . I also co-produce and host one of Scotland’s most prominent monthly spoken word nights Sonnet Youth.

My debut poetry book #GIRLHOOD (Speculative Books) was adapted into a solo spoken word show for this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.

I write bespoke poems for special occasions too, and I’m currently open for commissions.
